Inklude Studio
Troy’s energetic spirit is seen while he is working as well as in his work. His love for music and color inspires the style of his artwork. Troy’s use of materials and mediums has expanded throughout his time at Inklude. Troy has made many pieces involving wrapping string, beginning with wrapping string on paper boards, to now using a hammer, nails, and wood to layout his string design.
Troy enjoys listening to music while he creates, while often dancing and “rocking out”. He creates work inspired by the movements from listening to a song. The image becomes a symbol or visual dance of the song. Most recently Troy enjoys “pour paintings”, where he uses colors to drip and pour on items like canvas, glass vases, and even a bowling ball. Troy expresses enthusiasm for seeing how his own actions combined with the natural way the paint drips affects different formations.
