Gail’s intricate work displays her dedication and passion as an artist. Her process usually involves long-term projects including detailed work such as cross-stich, embroidery, sewing, collages, and drawings. Gail focuses on both technical and expressive ways of working. “I like to learn and grow artistically,” states Gail. “My artwork shows and expresses to others about who I am.”
Gail’s work is often inspired by what she finds beautiful and interesting, such as nature, animals, trees, people, and the idea of a sense of community. Many of these images and ideas are found in her artwork, where she has drawn sketchbooks filled with contour drawings of people. She creates work that captures who she is and the way she relates to others. “I take pride in my artwork,” states Gail.
